What is an airport code?

An IATA airport code, also known as an IATA location identifier, IATA station code, or simply a location identifier is a three-letter geocode designating many airports and metropolitan areas around the world, defined by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). The characters prominently displayed on baggage tags attached at airport check-in desks are an example of a way these codes are used.

Here you are going to learn about how to add new airport code. Step 1: Login with Fresa gold and select Masters module. (Fig-1)

Step 2: Select Airport option in the Masters module. (Fig-2)

Step 3: Select Create option in the Airport List. (Fig-3)

Step 4: Enter the mandatory details like Airport Code, Name, Country and Select type as Air then click save. (Fig-4)

Step 5: New Airport details will be added in the system. (Fig-5)
