The purpose of this document is to provide detailed steps that need to be followed while interacting with Customs Mirsal – 2 Applications.
Introduction :
The eMirsal Invoice feature in the Fresa Application enables users to prepare invoice details,
upload them in the required format, validate the data, and generate an EDI file for customs processing. It streamlines the eMirsal submission workflow by providing a structured process for uploading invoice information and downloading the EDI file in the required format. This helps reduce manual effort, minimize data entry errors, and ensure compliance with customs requirements.
Note :
Before uploading the EDI file, ensure that all mandatory invoice details are entered correctly in the downloaded sample format.
The uploaded Excel file must follow the prescribed eMirsal template; otherwise, validation errors may occur.
If the system displays any validation errors, correct them in the source file and upload it again before proceeding.
Download the generated EDI file only after the upload is completed successfully and the invoice details are validated by the system.
Step 1: Log in to the Fresa Application and open the respective Shipment for which you want to generate the eMirsal Invoice.
Step 2: Click the eMirsal Invoice option available in the Shipment Details header.
Step 3: Click on the Download Sample Format button under the eMirsal EDI Screen.
Step 4: Enter the required data in the Excel sheet, such as Invoice Number, Invoice Date, Invoice Type, Invoice Value, and other mandatory details. Then save the file.
Step 5: After entering all the required data, click Save to prepare the file for EDI upload.
Step 6: To upload the EDI, open the eMirsal Invoice screen again. Click Browse or drag and drop the file into the upload area.
Step 7: Once the file is chosen, we can upload it by clicking the Upload button.
Step 8: If all the data is entered correctly, the uploaded file will appear in the EDI list with details such as Invoice Number, Invoice Date, and Total Number of Invoice Pages.
Step 9: If any validation errors are found, the system displays them in the Error Notification section. Correct the errors and upload the file again.
Step 10: Click Download to download the generated EDI file from the eMirsal EDI screen.
The file will be downloaded in text (.txt) format and is ready for upload to the customs portal.
