In this blog, we will show you the Step to Auto-Calculate Quantity Based on Unit Selection in Costing – Fresa Application
The Auto Quantity Calculation Based on Container Type feature automatically calculates the charge quantity by considering:
- The selected container type.
- The number of container types entered in the job.
So, when a charge is configured per container type, the system will auto-populate the quantity without manual input.
Step 1: Log in to Fresa Gold and navigate to the Master Module –> Rate Basis Menu
Step 2: Open/create the Respective container type, Update the calculation method(~BLP_CONT_TYPE_CODE~) and then click Save.
Step 3: Go to the respective job page and add the container details under the Container tab. Once the details are added, the container count will be automatically displayed based on the selected container type.
Step 4: On the Costing tab, click the Add button. Select the required Charge and Unit. The Quantity will then be automatically calculated based on the selected unit.
