In this blog we are going to see, Steps to Create a Credit Note for an Invoice in Fresa Application.
Step 1: Navigate to the Respective Job/ Shipment page and click the Add button to add the charges under the Costing tab.
Step 2: Select the respective Charge, Bill To party and enter the Amount then change the Cr(+) to Dr(-) and click the Save Changes button.
Step 3: In the Job/Shipment page, click the Generate Voucher option to generate a Credit Note voucher.
Step 4: Select the Voucher Type as Credit note Voucher and select the respective Organization then click Next button.
Note: If Organization is not available in the drop-down. Check Step 2 and change the Cr(+) to Dr(-) then try to generate a voucher.
Step 5: In the Voucher Details page select the Book then click on the Next button.
Step 6: Select the respective charge in the Charge Details page then click Next.
Step 7: Check the details on the Summary page then click the Finish button to complete the voucher generation.
Step 8: Now, Click the Voucher List option on the Job/Shipment page to view the Credit Note Voucher number.
Step 9: Click the Credit Note Voucher number it will open the Credit Note Voucher page.
Step 10: Click the Single button to view the Full Voucher page.
Step 11: Click the Get O/S option to allocate the value with the outstanding Invoice.
Step 12: In the Get OS / Charges page select the respective voucher and enter the Credit Note amount in the “OS FCY Amount”. Click the Save button.
Step 13: Now, use Change Status Option to Approve then Post the Voucher.
