Introduction :
The Auto Journal Voucher feature automatically transfers the financial impact of an Import
Transhipment to the corresponding Export Job. When an Import Shipment is attached to an Export Job as a Transhipment, the system automatically creates Journal Voucher entries to transfer the applicable Sale and Cost charges. This eliminates manual journal entry creation, improves accounting accuracy, and simplifies transhipment cost management.
Note :
Ensure both the LCL Import Job and LCL Export Job are created before initiating the transhipment process.
The Import Shipment must be attached to the Import Job before it can be transferred to an Export Job.
Update the EXIM Flag to Transhipment before attaching the shipment to the Export Job.
The Auto Journal Voucher is generated automatically after the transhipment is successfully attached.
Step 1: Log in to the Fresa Application.
Step 2: Create an LCL Import Job.
Step 3: Create an LCL Export Job.
Step 4: Create an LCL Import Shipment.
Step 5: Attach the LCL Import Shipment under the LCL Import Job. Go to the Shipments tab. Click the Attach Shipments option.
Step 6: Enter the Shipment number and click search option. Select the Shipment and click save.
Step 7: After attaching the shipment, click the edit option.
Step 8: On this shipment page, Go to the Info tab. Click the Edit option.
Step 9: Change the Exim flag as Transhipment and click save changes.
Step 10: Here, Click the Pending option.
Step 11: Enter the POD, POF, Export Job number and click submit option. Select the Export Job and click Attach into Job option.
Step 12: Now, Transhipment has been attached into LCL Export Job.
Step 13: Go to the LCL Import Shipment page. Here, we could see Auto Journal Voucher entries has been passed.
Step 14: Navigate to the New Shipment page of LCL Export Job.
This ensures the transfer of all individual charges to the export shipment.
